Pacific Office Automation is committed to supporting sustainability initiatives. Our goal is to foster partnerships that enhance our commitment to environmental community service and mentoring. Reduce, reused and recycle are not just words to us, they are cornerstones to our future.
Three Components to Our Sustainability Strategy
Recycling
The longest standing is our recycling programs. POA provides environmentally safe packaging and return labels with all supply deliveries. Used toner cartridges can easily be returned to the manufacturer for recycling. We take part in recycling unwanted machines toners and cardboard.
The Environmentally Conscious Recycling Company (ECR) completely disassembles end of life machines, sorts by steel, copper, wire, glass, plastic and toner. Together POA and ECR are recycling machines, toner and cardboard at a rate of 99% or more.

Print Relief
Certified by SGS International, Pacific Office Automation’s partner program, Print Relief, uses global reforestation to ensure a neutral or net-positive impact on paper utilization. We take our customers’ print consumption and transform it to trees planted into Global Reforestation Projects of our customers’ choosing. Reforestation provides environmental and ecological cultivation where the planet needs it most.
Sustainable Transportation
Pacific Office Automation is at the forefront of promoting sustainable transportation in the communities we work in. We offer EV charging to our customers as part of our standard service portfolio and have installed them in our parking lot for employee use. These help promote energy conservation, reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental sustainability. We are committed to investing in eco-friendly EV charging infrastructure to continue benefiting the environment as well as help stimulate economic growth in our back yard.
