Pacific Office Automation Brings Verkada Security Solutions to the Seattle Seahawks

What does it take to help protect a stadium like Lumen Field? Last week, Verkada Security
Solutions brought security leaders together at the home of the Seattle Seahawks for a Security
Leader Forum focused on the technology and strategies shaping their security solutions. As the
largest reseller of Verkada, Pacific Office Automation helped bring their security solutions to the
home of the National Champions.

The event featured a welcome and introduction to Verkada by Ruben Ruiz, the VP of Solutions
Engineering at Verkada. Ruiz shared the line of new products, highlighting how Verkada’s
security solutions integrate AI into their cloud-managed platform that combines access control,
video security, and more all into one system. A panel conversation followed shortly after Ruiz’s
address.

Pacific Office Automation’s Director of Physical Security Solutions, Scott Brenton, sat on the
panel alongside Verkada Account Executive Eric Dugoni, VP of technology at the Seattle
Seahawks, Chip Suttles, and Verkada CTO Jon Farkas as the moderator.

POA Sales Managers Adam Jack and Will Smith and Scott helped Chip and the Seahawks with
their security needs about a year ago in their practice facility, the Virginia Mason Athletic Center
(VMAC), strengthening the now 10 year partnership.

“POA has been a great partner in our print/copier world for 10 years now and really supportive
of the team,” Chip said.

“My account management team found out that I was in the market for a new security solution
and brought it to my attention that they were resellers of Verkada. They were happy to introduce
some of their customers for testimonials for referrals and bring the solution to the table for us.”
Pleased with the installation at VMAC, the Seahawks had Verkada cameras installed at Lumen
Field in time for the FIFA World Cup in June.

In the panel, Scott said, “Our biggest responsibility as sales people at a technology provider is
understanding what the problem is and linking a solution to that problem and so much of what
our customers are asking for is more of the technology that is being deployed by Verkada.”
