This summer, Pacific Office Automation was proud to continue its partnership with the Charity Championship Tour. What began as a single charity golf tournament has grown into a three-event tour spanning Oregon and Idaho, with momentum that shows no signs of slowing down. Together, these tournaments raised more than $265,000 for local charities in 2026, contributing to an impressive $700,000 donated over the past five years.

A Growing Tradition of Giving Back

Five years ago, Green Barn Events approached Pacific Office Automation with an innovative idea for a charity golf tournament. Rather than supporting just one nonprofit organization, the event would bring together dozens of local charities to compete for cash prizes that would directly benefit their missions.

That idea became the Oregon Charity Championship, and its success grew as the tour expanded. What started in Portland soon grew into the Central Oregon Charity Championship in Bend, and this summer marked the debut of the Idaho Charity Championship in Boise. As a founding partner, Pacific Office Automation has proudly supported every tournament along the way, helping Green Barn Events donate more than $700,000 to charities and communities throughout Oregon and Idaho.

2026 Charity Championship Tour Highlights

Idaho Charity Championship

The inaugural Idaho Charity Championship was held at SpurWing Golf Club, bringing together nonprofits, sponsors, and community supporters from across the state for a day of friendly competition and fundraising. With a total charity purse of $78,000, the Boys & Girls Club of Canyon County claimed first place and earned $30,000; the College of Idaho took home second place and $20,000, while Rays for Rare came in third place and won $10,000 for their organization.

Central Oregon Charity Championship

The 3rd Annual Central Oregon Charity Championship took place at Crosswater Golf Club in Sunriver, Oregon. Competing for a charity purse of $83,000, participating organizations spent the day on the course raising awareness and support for their causes. At the end of the tournament, Make-A-Wish Oregon won first place and a $30,000 donation; Gigi’s Playhouse took second and $20,000, and Guidelight went home with a $10,000 check and 3rd place prize. Through sponsored KP contests, long drives, putting challenges, and other competitions, 11 participating charities earned funding, with each organization taking home at least $1,000.

Oregon Charity Championship

The tour concluded with the 4th Annual Oregon Charity Championship, which featured the largest purse of the season at $104,000. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors including La-Z-Boy, Mondelez, Toyota, Albertsons Safeway, and Pacific Office Automation, every participating charity received at least $1,000, regardless of tournament placement. The Ronald McDonald House won the first-place prize of $30,000; Elite Sports Academy took home second place and $20,000, and The First Tee rounded out third place with a $10,000 prize.

The event once again demonstrated the power of community partnerships and friendly competition to make a lasting impact.

Looking Ahead

The continued growth of the Charity Championship Tour reflects the incredible support of sponsors, charities, volunteers, and community members who make these events possible. As the tour expands its reach and impact each year, Pacific Office Automation is honored to be part of a program that strengthens local communities and supports so many deserving organizations. We are already looking forward to next year’s tournaments!
